Infections and cancer of the prostate can produce signs and symptoms similar to enalrged prostate (BPH).
Typically, enlarged prostate
begins with a difficulty to urinate. Emission of urine is difficult to start when it finally occurs, the flow is
slow. Minutes after urination, drops of urine may continue to flow. Even after urination, you may have the
impression that your bladder is not empty. The walls of the bladder and urethra become irritated, causing a false
urge to urinate even during the night. As the prostate get larger aggravates, you may have pain in your lower back,
pelvis or upper thighs.
Some drugs tend to exacerbate disorders of enlarged prostate
(BPH). Persistence in their administration may even trigger retention of urine. If you experience these symptoms it
is important to see your doctor before taking any drug. Certain drugs can lead to complications:

stones
·
urinary tract
infection
·
complete blockage of the urethra
·
Damage to the
kidneys due to chronic urine retention.
