prostate, of a chestnut form, is a sexual gland of the male reproductive system. Surrounding the urethra, it is
located below the bladder and in front of the rectum. One of its roles is to secrete and store the seminal
fluid, the sperm. From
birth to adult age, the prostate volume increases; it can weigh up to 20 g. T
he growth becomes a problem when it affects the physiological functions of the prostate gland. One of the common
ailments of the prostate is BPH or enlarged prostate.

. This disorder compresses the urethra and puts pressure on the bladder, which impedes urination and causes
